Bean Box 12 Days of Christmas Coffee: Day 9

I don't really have anything to babble about today.

Last night we watched David Byrne's American Utopia and I liked it, but then I also got weirdly bored about 30 minutes from the end so I took a pause and will revisit it again at a later date.

I was most taken by the lighting design and unusual choreography. The stage itself was a stark work of modern art and I got a lot of delight simply watching the curtains rise at the beginning of the show.

I am sure I will finish it one day. Who knows what was going on with my brain last night.

This is actually one of the things I've been working on lately: being okay with stopping something when I'm bored. Before, I'd power through because of some strange feeling of obligation.

But who was I even obligated to?

Coffee

Today's coffee was A+, though. Juicy and berry-y and I didn't think berries were something I"d seek out in coffee, but here we are. It's from True North based of out Seattle and it's called "Sleigh Bells Holiday Blend".

The name made me sparkle inside because Sleigh Bells are one of my favorite, most energy-y bands! They always get me hype.

SO DID THIS COFFEE. I never thought I'd use the word "juicy" for a coffee, but it's the best word to capture how my mouth feels.

It's like I just got done drinking a cop of unsweetened concord grape juice. And I mean that in the absolute best way.

4.5/5 Ohs!

Oh, btw here is a link to the coffee calendar.
